install ugbox on your phone

add ugbox to your home screen so it opens like a real app, full screen and one tap away.

iOS (Safari)

1. open ugbox.ro (or your current URL) in Safari. other browsers cannot install on iOS.
2. tap the Share icon at the bottom (the square with an up arrow).
3. scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. name it ugbox and tap Add.

Android (Chrome)

1. open the site in Chrome.
2. tap the three dot menu in the top right.
3. tap Add to Home screen (or Install app).
4. confirm Add.

add friends by QR

no native app needed. every profile has a QR code, point any phone camera at it and the link /u/handle?add=1 opens in the browser. if you're signed in, it auto-sends the friend request. open your profile to show yours.

notifications

once installed to your home screen, ugbox will ask permission to send pings for new messages, replies and warnings while the app is open. background push (when the app is fully closed) is coming soon, it needs extra setup on the server.
